Glastonbury 2008 kicks off in less than a week and it is the largest performing arts festival in the world. This year Orange with offer a free mobile phone recharging pod for festival goers to use. The pod is eco friendly as it is powered by wind and solar power and is seven metres high. It can charge up to 100 mobiles every hour and causes no harm to the environment. Gotwind is the company that has invented the eco-charging pod and the pod will travel the world to different festivals. This pod will hopefully spread the word about being more eco friendly and encourage the development of smaller device that could charge phones in an eco friendly way.
