The latest research in to mobile phones causing brain cancer in Japan has been carried out. They have looked into the effects of handset radiation levels in different areas of the brain. They used 322 participants that already had brain cancer and 683 healthy participants. Each participant was rated on the how many years they have used a mobile phone and time average time used per day. They then studied the radiation emitted from different mobile phones then placed in categories of radiation. The findings of the experiment found no increased risk of using normal mobile phones in the three main types of brain cancer. There will always contradictory findings but the overall evidence suggests that there is no link between cancer and mobile phones. The largest research was conducted with 420,000 people over 10 years and that found no significant link between cancer and mobile phones.
